16 ounce jar thick and chunky salsa (as hot as you like)
1 can black beans
1 1/2 cups vegetable juice
8 ounces kielbasa (Polish sausage), halved lengthwise and sliced 1/4 cup water
chili powder, to taste
minced garlic or garlic powder, to taste
shredded cheese (optional)
sour cream (optional)
diced onion (optional)
In a large saucepan, stir together salsa, beans, vegetable juice, kielbasa, water, chili powder and garlic. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon chili into bowls. Top with sour cream, onion and shredded cheese.
