Thank you for your interest in advertising on AnythingWisconsin.com. The site's seen
tremendous growth and is becoming increasingly popular with the search engines,
which means more traffic. The site gets thousands of visitors a month.
Many are from the Midwest although I do get them from all over. Most come
from the search engines, so when they visit my fishing guide page, for example,
it's because they're interested in finding a fishing guide in Wisconsin.
If you have an ad for your guide services on my fishing page it will be seen
by someone interested in purchasing your services. This is highly targeted
traffic. It's like having them ask you to bring one of your brochures
right into their living room. What could be better than that? I have also created websites for a few clients. It surprises me how many businesses don't have their own site. It's surprisingly cheap considering what you're getting. I recently created a site for some people that have cabins for rent, on a nearby lake. The hosting fees were $85 for one year and I charged them $100 for my work. If they make no changes next year, I'll probably charge them the $85 hosting fee, and tack on $25 for my efforts, (making sure the bill get's paid on time and the site stays up). If they want to pay the hosting fees themselves, I don't need to be involved at all, unless they want some changes made to the site. For that work I would charge a fee based on what the changes are and how much time it takes me. If you've ever thought about getting your own website, please contact me.
